Quick Post

Eased off on the training this week and only ran 4 days. Better to take it a little easy I say and focus more on quality of the run.

Week in Summary 60k@4:25

Mon Rest


Tues 14k@4:21 incl some MP running and fast finish.

Wed Migraine, had Day off work and slept all day.

Thurs 18k@4:13 incl last Speedwork which included 4*1600m @3:40 pace with 400m recoveries @ 5.00 pace, 8km covered in 31.08, later realised I was only meant to do 3*. Cooldown with Simon.

Fri 10k@4:38

Sat 18k@4:32 incl 2* Mt Yokine Hill Course. Last longer type run and wanted to get some specific hillwork in, ran in Asics DS Racers and have decided to run Boston in these.

Sun No running, left packing till last minute and was hoping to sneak in a run but didn't eventuate.

Congrats to Biscuitman and Sugar on their runs today.

Great effort by Dockers to beat Geelong, thought about tipping them all week but decided to tip the Cats. Dismal effort by Eagles, nothing more to say on that.

That's a good last longish run. Have a good flight - make the most of that airline hospitality!!

Safe travels! Fingers crossed for some good weather, enjoy the experience. Give my regards to Neil Diamond in Framingham .... and beware Wellesley ;-)

All the best in Boston! Your training would suggest this should be a big one for you.
Hopefully the fooy results look better for your mob when you get back...I wonder how many people will tip Freo in the top of the table clash this weekend, after we beat the reigning premiers...
